After Sony announced that PlayStation 4 worldwide sales have crossed 18.5 million units sold through to consumers since console launch, Sony Computer Entertainment President and CEO Andrew House talked about how they’ll continue to deliver on the promise of making PS4 the best place to play:
We are absolutely delighted that so many customers around the globe have continued to select PS4 as their console of choice throughout this holiday season. We will continue to reinforce and deliver additional value on PS4 as the best place to play, by bringing even more exciting content and by enriching our wide array of service offerings.
Sony adds, “SCE will continue to expand the world of PS4 to deliver entertainment experiences that are only possible on PlayStation.”
As of December 2, 2014, the PS4 is available in 123 countries and regions worldwide. This will expand next week when both the PS4 and PS Vita launch in China.
Do you think the PS4 has a chance to cross 30 million by the end of 2015?
