PlayStation Experience – Darkest Dungeons Trailer Features Beautiful Artwork and Old-School RPG Combat

The trailer for Darkest Dungeon was recently shown at PlayStation Experience, giving us a glimpse at what the old-school RPG will be like when it hits PS4 and PS Vita in 2015.

The trailer features turn-based, party-oriented combat and beautifully drawn characters. It looks like there will be a number of different character classes that can be added into a player’s party of four heroes, such as crusaders and plague doctors.

Each playable character will be subject to stress, which can deeply impact their performance and health. It can cause them to become afflicted with hopelessness, or even become a masochist. Each affliction changes the way the characters behave and act, making them more or less valuable when battling enemies.

What do you think of Darkest Dungeon? Does the unique artwork or the interesting addition of stress into the gameplay interest you at all?
