Sony has just released some new and exciting information on Bloodborne, giving fans a glimpse of a newly revealed hunter and weapon.
The hunter, explained Sony producer Masaaki Yamagiwa on the official PlayStation Blog, is an old veteran named Gyula. Gyula apparently has a number of unique skills, although no one has seen them in a while, at least not since he wandered into the ruins of the old part of Yharnam. However, it seems like players may just get to meet Gyula when they explore that old and deserted part of the city.
Besides introducing the Gyula, Yamagiwa also talked about a new cane weapon. Like most of the other weapons in Bloodborne, the cane can actually transform into an entirely different weapon — a bladed whip. The transformation allows players to have both a short-ranged and a long-ranged weapon, making it perfect for all types of situations.
