Atlus has announced that Citizens of Earth, a title it picked up after a failed Kickstarter campaign, will now release on January 20, 2015. The game was originally supposed to release in September this year.
In October 2013, Citizens of Earth fell short of its $100,000 CAD ($91,600 USD) funding on Kickstarter. Atlus acquired publishing rights for the game this past April, and announced that it will be heading to the PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 3DS, Wii U, and PC. The game has players stepping into the role of Vice President of the world after it goes berserk. The plot revolves around recruitment of citizens to send into battle.
Citizens of Earth will cost $15 upon release.
