There’s just no stopping the juggernaut that is FIFA 15, with the title capturing first place for a 6th consecutive week since launch, the most so far of any 2014 game. Looking at last year’s FIFA 14, it too had a six week #1 streak on its way to 12 first place finishes overall, but it didn’t occur from launch.
Because of FIFA 15’s first place finish, Insomniac’s Xbox One-exclusive Sunset Overdrive had to settle for 2nd place, while WWE 2K15 on last-gen consoles debuted in 5th. Elsewhere in new releases, Lords of the Fallen placed 11th, The Walking Dead Season 2 was at #23, The Walking Dead Game of the Year Edition for Season 1 was at #36, MX vs ATV Supercross placed in 38th, and just placing in the top 40 was Freedom Wars at #39.
