When it comes to PlayStation TV and PlayStation Vita firmware update 3.35, we already knew that four-player Remote Play support for PlayStation TV and the Live From PlayStation app for PS Vita and PS TV would be added. As Sony revealed today, there’s another feature brought in 3.35, which allows you to adjust the video quality of Remote Play on PS TV.
Here’s the full details:
You can now adjust the video quality for Remote Play on the PS TV system according to your network environment. Select (PS4 Link) > [Start] > (Options) > [Settings] > [Video Quality for Remote Play]. If Remote Play is not working properly, you can try selecting [Standard] to help improve the quality.
If for some reason you’re having trouble with Remote Play, Sony reminds you: “To connect to a PS4 system using Remote Play with a PS Vita system or PS TV system that has been updated to system software version 3.15 or later, the system software of the PS4 system must be version 1.70 or later.”
The PlayStation App on smartphones also received an update today to go along with PlayStation 4 firmware update 2.00, which redesigns the home screen and adds tablet layout support.
