Activision sent out a press release today, announcing that Chivalry: Medieval Warfare will now be available for the PlayStation 3 on December 2 in North America for $14.99. A European release on December 3 is very likely, as that is the release on Xbox 360.

Announced for consoles last month, publisher Activision has revealed through a couple of recent videos that Chivalry: Medieval Warfare will launch for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 28 in North America, with a release date of October 29 in Europe highly likely.
If you’re unfamiliar, here’s the description for Chivalry: Medieval Warfare’s gameplay:
Melee combat in Chivalry: Medieval Warfare is more than just hack and slash. Players will use different attacks, blocks and counters insuring that combat is tactical, responsive and of course chaotic. Prepare to fight in a variety of inspired medieval environments and scenarios. Raid peasant villages, burn crops, siege castles, defend the royal family, or fight to the last man in a gladiatorial arena. Multiple modes provide opportunities to fight as a team for the greater glory of the realm, or for personal honor in duels to the death.
