Already available on PlayStation 3, EastAsiaSoft has announced that Söldner-X 2: Final Prototype will be released for the PlayStation Vita this winter, complete with cross-buy, so if you own it on PS3 already, you’ll get the Vita version free when it launches.
With the game on Vita, the developers are aiming for a “console perfect port,” running at 60fps with little to no load times. Additionally, the game will feature separate high scores tables and a new Trophy set. Unfortunately, there won’t be a 2-player mode in the game.
If you’re unfamiliar, Söldner-X 2: Final Prototype includes “up to 10 exciting stages, a dynamic score-linked difficulty system, three different player ships with more than 10 unique weapons, and special limit attacks, challenge mode, online high score ranking, replay playback, and lots more.”
As a reminder, EastAsiaSoft confirmed they are still working on bringing Rainbow Skies to the PS3 and PS Vita in 2015.
For a couple more game requests , EastAsiaSoft said, “Although we never say never, a Himmelsstürmer port is very unlikely at the moment.” They added, “At the moment we have no plans for a Söldner-X 2 release on the PS4.”
Will you be playing Söldner-X 2: Final Prototype when it comes to Vita?
