While this year’s Tokyo Game Show is just a few days away and, that hasn’t stopped Hideo Kojima from giving us a sneak peek of what’s to come in the event for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
Shown above is the video footage that aired during a webcast of Kojima Station earlier today. It features female sniper Quiet, as she drops down from a helicopter to Mother Base using stealth camo. Following this little teaser, Kojima then posted an image on Twitter with the words “Metal Gear Collection 2014.”
Just last year, the Metal Gear Solid Legacy Collection was launched on the PlayStation 3 and included the Metal Gear and Metal Gear Solid titles. If this new collection is indeed set for this year, I’d wager it’s set for the now-gen platforms (with possible last-gen versions), and possibly include MGSV: Ground Zeroes, and the rest of the games not included in the Legacy Collection.
Last month, Kojima unveiled the entire 20-minute gameplay video for MGSV: The Phantom Pain’s gamescom playthrough. Perhaps we’re in for another treat at TGS.
Would you buy another MGS collection? What would you like to see at TGS when it comes to The Phantom Pain?
