Giving us an answer to that tease earlier today, Deep Silver and Volition revealed Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell at PAX today. A standalone expansion priced at $19.99, Gat Out of Hell will release on January 27 in North America and January 30 in Europe for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
Starring Johnny Gat and Kinzie Kensington as they attempt to rescue the leader of the Saints after being kidnapped and taken to hell to marry the devil’s daughter, Jezebel, Gat Out of Hell allows you to swap between Johnny or Kinzie, or play online co-op with another player. Featuring an open-world city sandbox, Gat Out of Hell will allow you to explore the world however you choose.
Volition explained:
Our brand new city of New Hades features five distinct islands including a barren wasteland of an ancient war, a towering downtown for Hell’s elite, and a crammed slums built for ultimate suffering. This new environment is specifically catered to one of our new supernatural powers: angelic flight! With angelic wings, our Saints will terrorize the ranks of Hell’s armies from ankle-biting imps to massive Arch-Demons.
Super powers are making a return with supernatural twists from demonic summons to deadly holy auras. A new arsenal of wicked weapons can be found as well as The 7 Legendary Deadly Weapons — each the twisted embodiment of one of the 7 deadly sins! Fans may also find some much needed closure for past friends (And enemies!).
Additionally, Deep Silver announced that Saints Row IV: Re-Elected will be released on January 27 in North America and January 30 in Europe for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at $49.99, including Gat Out of Hell.

Will Powers of Deep Silver confirmed that Saints Row IV: Re-Elected will include all previous DLC.

Volition’s Kate Nelson added that you’ll be able to buy Saints Row IV: Re-Elected on PlayStation 4 with or without the Gat Out of Hell DLC. She continued, “There will be visual enhancements, fun voice commands, and it also includes all of the DLC that has been released for Saints Row IV. There is no reduction of content.”
