A new post on Capcom’s blog compares screenshots from the 2009 Wii port of the Resident Evil game and the upcoming Resident Evil HD remaster. As expected, the differences are stunning.
The screenshots are lined up almost perfectly, giving you a pretty good idea of just how much better the Resident Evil remaster will look than the 2002 Nintendo GameCube version, which is what the remake will be based on.
The new screenshots also show some non-comparison images, which feature some fairly impressive lighting effects and nice textures.
Capcom has said that the Resident Evil remake will be out sometime in 2015, and will be coming to both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 consoles.
What do you think of the new screenshots? Are you planning on picking up the remastered game when it comes out? Sound off and let us know.
