Just yesterday, we posted that Namco Bandai has rolled out a hefty 1GB update for Dark Souls II that possibly included data from the game’s “Crown of the Old Iron King” DLC. Now, in a press release, Namco Bandai has announced that the expansion is officially available on all platforms.
If you’ve already conquered the Crown of the Sunken King DLC, then this new one should be right up your alley. Dark Souls II fans can “explore new environments, vanquish horrid enemies, solve traps, and defeat gruesome bosses,” in this new add-on content. Crown of the Old Iron King will feature ” an entirely different environment to conquer compared to Crown of the Sunken King; players will see a world ravaged by lava, heat, and ash and of course… death in every corner.”
The Crown of the Old Iron King DLC is now out on the PlayStation Store for $9.99, or you can buy the entire The Lost Crowns trilogy for $24.99.
