Update:
According to a post on the PS Blog, the Flash Sale will end at 8am PST on Monday, August 25, which just happens to be right before the scheduled PSN maintenance begins.
As for those other sales the PlayStation Store listed early, they haven’t gone live yet, meaning Tuesday is the logical time they’ll begin. Stay tuned for more info as it arrives.

The North American PlayStation Store has revealed that there will be a $9.99 PSN Flash Sale available this weekend, giving you the chance to get some PS3 and PS Vita titles for cheap.
