Possibly giving us our first look at screenshots for The Last of Us Remastered, a Korean website posted the above images.
We can’t tell 100% if they’re from the PS4 version of The Last of Us, but Naughty Dog’s Arne Meyer did say on NeoGAF, “I think those screens were from the batch we sent for a print only feature in Japan. They may have been accidentally distributed. We’ll see what happened, but regardless enjoy!” Judging by this, it sounds as though they’re legit.
Over on Twitter, Naughty Dog’s Quentin Cobb said, “We’re going to release official screenshots of #TLOUPS4 soon.”
Of course, you can always check out this PS4 vs. PS3 trailer comparison video to see some of the differences, though keep in mind that there’s major spoilers all throughout.
As well, the ESRB gave their rating on The Last of Us Remastered today, which is the exact same as The Last of Us on PS3, save for the fact that there’s the added descriptor of “use of alcohol” because “one scene allows player to decide whether a young character drinks alcohol.” You can thank Left Behind for the alcohol use.
The Last of Us Remastered will be out on July 29 in North America and July 30 in Europe.
