Lindsay Lohan Suing Rockstar Over Grand Theft Auto V Likeness

Last year, word got out that actress Lindsay Lohan (Mean Girls) was set to sue Rockstar Games for allegedly using her likeness in Grand Theft Auto V without her permission.

Today, it has been confirmed that Lohan is pushing through with the lawsuit. Filed in New York where Rockstar is based,  the complaint suit states that the GTAV character of “Lacey Jonas” is an “unequivocal” reference to Lohan, her image, voice, and styles from her clothing line. In addition to that, it was noted that West Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont hotel is also depicted in the game, and this is a hotel where Lohan stayed in.

Presently, Rockstar Games or parent company Take-Two Interactive have declined to comment on the matter.

While the character might possibly be a parody of Lindsay Lohan, it’s sad that a Hollywood actress needs to even see this as anything but a gag. But then again, I’m guessing with the game selling as much, Lohan wants in on that GTAV money pot.

Do you think Lindsay Lohan is in the right here or is she just out for a quick cash grab?
