PlayStation LifeStyle PlayList: June 28 & 29, 2014 – Dancing Edition

Because high-fiving isn’t a good enough reaction to your competition pricing their system $100 more than yours, PlayStation’s Scott Rohde revealed that they were actually dancing in the aisles during Microsoft’s press conference when they announced the Xbox One would be $499. For some reason I picture Shu’s go-to move as the Chainsaw.

Here’s what everyone is playing this weekend:

Alex Co (@excaliburps)

I’ll probably spend the weekend resting and thinking of new features, but if I get the time, it will be EA Sports UFC for me, and maybe a few rounds of Battlefield 4. Oh, and I might sneak in a few games of Resogun just to see the new user-made ships!

Cameron Teague

Since I finally got through Z-Run, I will be back in Sword Art Online, working my way to level 100 while also hitting on every single lady in this game. I mean seriously, how does Kirito attract every full bodied girl in the game? He must wear Axe body spray, because the commercials say that attracts the ladies!

Chandler Wood (@FinchStrife)

I’ll be doing the sadly repetitive open world side stuff for the Watch Dogs platinum, as it has been far too long since my last plat popped and I need to hear the sweet ‘ding’ of number 107. Beyond that, I may actually start one of the fantastic games that D’yani has reviewed, but I can’t decide if it should be Child of Light, Transistor, or Valiant Hearts. Finally weening off of E3 stuff may allow me to actually get a full night’s sleep as well, but let’s get real, I’ll probably spend that time just playing games.

Umm, I’ll just be play Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Yep. I won’t apologize for it. I love Animal Crossing.

Dan Oravasaari (@FoolsJoker)

This is going to be a crazy busy weekend for me.  On top of finishing up the Killzone: Shadow Fall Intercept DLC and the GRID Autosport reviews, I am also one of the judges for this year’s Casual Connects Indie Prize. So I also have a laundry list of smaller titles to run through as well. I also want to see Transformers.

Jason Dunning (@Jasonad21)

Despite having beat it on 3DS some time ago, I just can’t resist going back and playing Mutant Mudds Deluxe now that it’s free on PlayStation Plus. I also might download Terraria (since it’s only 33MB or so) just to see what all the fuss is about.

Louis Edwards (@ftwrthtx)

I’m going to try to get in some time with Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 on PS Now, but gaming takes a back seat sometimes.

Ryan

I will be playing the poorly designed and horribly named Yardwork game for way too much of the weekend and the even less appealing House Cleaning game to get ready for house guests. Hopefully I will get some time to Watch some Dogs and beat Chandler to the platinum. Just a few more Fixer contracts and some mayhem with the police and that shiny beauty will be mine. I’m sure at some point I will be mining and spelunking some more in Terraria on my shiny, shiny Vita (so shiny!). I’m determined to platinum that game if it takes me the rest of my life, which it likely will.

Zarmena Khan (@Zarmena)

I’m still playing through the Watch Dogs story mode. Almost finished with Act 2. So far so good.

What are you playing this weekend?
