While console fans are arguing which system is better between the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, it’s nice to see that the people behind them aren’t as hostile to each other — at least not always.
Over on Twitter, Xbox boss Phil Spencer was asked by a fan if Sony is intimidated by his new role at Microsoft since the fan thinks Spencer is a “game changer” for the Xbox division. In his reply, Spencer was more than cordial and even says he thinks Sony will have a “good” E3 showing.
@XBX1GameInsider I don’t think Sony is intimidated. Sony is great brand and strong team. Competition is good, they’ll have a good E3.

In another tweet, a fan said that he’s thrilled that Spencer is the new head of Xbox, and Spencer states what most Xbox One fans might have been feeling since he was promoted to lead the division earlier this year.
@tavis206 Thanks, XBOX team is all working hard. There is a renewed sense of belief we are on a good path here, good vibe in the halls.

This isn’t the first time Spencer didn’t throw mud at their opposition. Earlier this year, the exec claims that he thinks Sony has “done a nice job in how they defined the PS4.”
Even if PlayStation LifeStyle is a site that focuses on PlayStation products, I have to admit that as a videogame fan, Spencer heading the Xbox brand and being a nice guy is something I’m appreciative for.
Do you think Sony will beat Microsoft at this year’s press conference showdown? If so, what will Sony need to pull it off?
