With 2014 marking the 30th anniversary of the Tetris franchise, Ubisoft had previously announced that we’d be getting a new game in the series this year for the PS4 and Xbox One. Calling it “the evolution of the world’s most-loved puzzle game,” Ubisoft revealed Tetris Ultimate today, which will be out this summer on PS4 and Xbox One, with a PC version out in the fall.
We’ll hopefully hear more about Tetris Ultimate next week at E3, where it will be playable at Ubisoft’s Uplay lounge in The Standard hotel, but for now, here’s what we know about the game so far:
With exciting modes, fun features and unique visuals, Tetris Ultimate allows 1–4 players to face off in six different game modes: Marathon, Endless, Ultra, Sprint, Battle and Power-Up Battle.
