As part of a very busy day yesterday, EA confirmed that their E3 2014 Press Conference will take place on Monday, June 9th from 12:00PM PT to 1:00PM PT. Hosted by CEO Andrew Wilson, EA says “the live event will feature never-before-seen content from EA’s upcoming games as well as sneak peeks at new projects and intellectual properties currently in development.” EA will stream the conference at these locations: ea.com/e3, e3.spike.com, twitch.tv/e3.
During EA’s earnings call yesterday (via Seeking Alpha), Wilson said, “We also plan to unveil details on at least six new projects in development at EA” at E3 2o14. It would appear as though two of these titles will be a new EA Sports golf game (after Tiger Woods was dropped) and a “major new game coming in our third quarter this year, powered by Frostbite 3 and developed by some of our most talented teams.” If we had to guess, that major new game might be the rumored Battlefield title, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
Here’s a look at EA’s release schedule for the current fiscal year (ending March 31st, 2015) on consoles:
