The Golf Club Swings to PS4, Xbox One, and PC This Spring

With Tiger Woods taking a break (and EA quiet on their upcoming golf title), the golf genre is left wide open, and Canadian developer HB Studios will be taking advantage of that when they release The Golf Club in Spring 2014 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Check out this video for a look at the gameplay:

In The Golf Club, you can expect procedurally-generated courses, with the Course Creator allowing you to make a new course “in seconds”, which can then be shared and played right away online with your friends (you can play against them in real time or try to beat their best round). You’ll also be able to edit the courses, Tournaments, and Tours, while the latter two can then be shared online as well.

Thanks to the procedural generation, HB Studios says loading times will be “next to zero” when going into courses and any waiting between holes will be “completely” eliminated.

The price of The Golf Club wasn’t detailed, so stay tuned for more information as it arrives.
