We all knew that Sony’s cloud gaming service PlayStation Now would get 3rd party support, but with all the games shown on the platform so far being first party titles, many speculated that the initial launch offering would just be Sony’s own games.
Peter Jamshidi, Director of Strategic Planning at SCEA, told GamerFitnation, when asked about whether the launch will only be Sony titles:
Yeah, as you can imagine, we’re excited about this technology, and our partners are as well. We’re working with them to secure titles for the launch. For CES what we’re showing is exclusively Worldwide Studios, PlayStation titles. and we’re excited to bring a full and robust catalog once we launch in Summer 2014.
