One of the things we missed thanks to some of the accepted laziness associated with the holidays is Hideo Kojima’s comments on Twitter about which version of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes he thinks you should buy:
I’ve been asked which version you should buy. The feel of play and impression’s similar as it’s been made multiplatform/multi-gen this time. Sense of realism and graphics looks much better in next-gen. So I’d say current-gen for those who can’t buy next-gen just yet and upgrade later.
FYI, the world ranking of mission result/trial grade in “[Ground Zeroes]” differs to each platform. The feel of play/difficulty levels are the same as we consider slight difference parts found in each hardware, controls or framerate.
About a week after these comments, Kojima then talked about how The Phantom Pain is hundreds of times bigger than Ground Zeroes:
[Ground Zeroes] is both a prologue of [Metal Gear Solid V’s] story, and at the same time, a tutorial of new [Metal Gear Solid], which transits to sneaking simulator. [With] that said, [Ground Zeroes] has comparatively small field as compared to main (which is hundreds times bigger), [without] time change. But each mission offers different time zone [with] different play.
With Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes just two months away, how excited are you for the game? Let us know in the comments below.
