After being separated by less than 600 copies last week, FIFA 14 rose 18% to first place on the UK sales charts, beating Call of Duty: Ghosts by 17,000 units. With this #1 finish, FIFA 14 gives EA its first Christmas number 1 since 2008 with FIFA 09.
There were also some big gains for certain titles, which you can see below with the top 23 selling games in the UK for the week ending December 21st, 2013:
- FIFA 14 (up 18%)
- Call of Duty: Ghosts (up 7%)
- Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag (up 92%)
- Battlefield 4 (up 17%)
- LEGO Marvel Super Heroes (down 17%)
- Grand Theft Auto V (up 94%; only 400 sales behind LEGO)
- Just Dance 2014 (up 18%)
- Need for Speed: Rivals (up 25%)
- Killzone: Shadow Fall
- Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition (up 24%)
- Gran Turismo 6 (down 5%)
- Batman: Arkham Origins
- Skylanders SWAP Force
- WWE 2K14
- Forza 5
- Disney Infinity
- Animal Crossing: New Leaf
- Football Manager 2014
- Angry Birds Star Wars
- Aliens: Colonial Marines
