New Dark Souls 2 Beta Info: PSN Messages Going Out Tomorrow, 30,000 Participants in Round 2, 3.7GB of Free Space Required

While European gamers can download a registration ticket for the Dark Souls 2 beta, those in North and South America randomly selected for the 5,000 person Closed Beta will receive a PSN message on October 8th at 11AM PT with a Dark Souls 2 beta code. Since the first round is first-come, first-served, the first 5,000 people to redeem the code will gain entry when it starts on October 12th.

On October 22nd at 11AM PT, a universal code will be shared (likely on their Facebook Page), allowing the first 30,000 people who redeem the code to participate in the Open Beta that begins on October 26th.

When you begin the beta, you’ll need to be over 18 years old, actively report any issues you encounter, and 3.7GB of free space will be required on your PS3 HDD.

Will you be trying your darndest to get into the beta this month? Let us know in the comments below.
