General News
- Looks like we can expect the Madden NFL 25 demo to hit the PSN on August 13th, but nothing’s 100% official yet. [Source]
- Stealth Inc.: A Clone in the Dark will be released on July 23rd in North America and July 24th in Europe. Available for both the PS3 and PS Vita, it will include Cross Buy. [Press Release]
- Tales of Xillia 2 has been confirmed for release in the west at some point in 2014, exclusively for the PS3. If you have a save file from Tales of Graces f and Tales of Xillia, you’ll then be given bonus items for Tales of Xillia 2, but nothing’s been detailed yet. [Press Release]
- Both Demon Gaze and Dangan Ronpa from NIS will be coming to North America and Europe in 2014, exclusively for the PlayStation Vita. [Press Releases]
- Aksys Games will be bringing Holy Sorcery Story from Compile Hearts to the PlayStation Vita this year in North America, under the name Sorcery Saga: The Curse of the Great Curry God. Mmm, curry. [Source]
- Atlus’ parent company has registered Persona5.jp. This is far from an announcement about the future of the franchise, but it is something. Kind of. [Via/Source]

- H-Hour: World’s Elite ended its Kickstarter run with $252,662, $52,662 above their initial goal. Since they came short of the $2 million goal, the PS4 version isn’t a guarantee, but with the just over $250,000, they’ll be able to create a demo and try to shop the game around for further funding. - Pre-order Killzone: Mercenary from Amazon.ca for $39.99 and get $30 off of Soul Sacrifice, which is $29.99 right now. [Deal!]
- While undated, a Crunchyroll app has been announced for the PlayStation Vita and is on its way. [Source]
- Pete Hines of Bethesda spoke about cross platform play when it comes to The Elder Scrolls Online, saying that it’s “just a nightmare” for PS4 and Xbox One because they are both their “own thing.” [Source]
- Min-Liang Tan, CEO of Razer, explained on Twitter that the company doesn’t create accessories for the PS3 is “because I don’t really spend time with mine.” Tan does have “high hopes” for the PS4 from what he saw at E3 and they’ll “definitely be looking at PS4,” but couldn’t make any promises. - Gaijin Games has announced DLC for Runner2 in the form of a Good Friends Character Pack. It hits Steam this Thursday and adds seven new characters, including Raz (Psychonauts) and Quote (Cave Story), with a console release happening somewhere down the line. [Source]

- Aaron Hernandez has been removed from NCAA Football 14 and Madden NFL 25, with EA explaining, “We have made a decision to remove Aaron Hernandez from Madden NFL 25 and NCAA Football 14. Because NCAA Football 14 was finalized prior to our decision, Hernandez’ image still appears in the Nike Skills Trainer. However, he is not in the game, and anyone who unlocks that particular Nike Skills Trainer reward will receive an Alex Smith Ultimate Team player item instead. The image of Hernandez will be removed via a Title Update in the near future.” [Source]

- We’ve reached out to each developer for PlayStation release dates, but the Xbox Live Summer of Arcade 2013 has been detailed, with Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons out August 7th for 1200 Microsoft Points ($15), Flashback on August 21st for 800 MSP ($10), and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows on August 21st for 800 MSP ($10). - Usain Bolt recently said that he’d be buying a PS4 when it comes to the PS4 vs. Xbox One showdown this holiday. [Source]
- In something-that-could-be-maddeningly-difficult news, Yui Tanimura, Director on Dark Souls 2, said, “We’re hoping that if the player tries hard enough, or are willing enough, they could even start halfway through the game, depending on how willing or how brave they are.” Good luck if you decide to do that. - Dragon Fantasy Book II is on track for a summer release date, with Dragon Fantasy Book I expected to release soon in Europe. Also, the Book 1 “Non-HDMI patch” is awaiting final approval from Sony. [Twitter 1, 2, 3]
