Ever since Amazon posted their initial price for a PS4 game at $99.99, it stirred the pot as to what we can expect from pricing in next-gen titles.
Now that the Xbox E3 conference has finished, Amazon has begun taking pre-orders on many of the games, revealing that EA Xbox One titles Need for Speed: Rivals, Madden NFL 25, Battlefield 4, FIFA 14, and NBA Live 14 are just $59.99. Others, such as Call of Duty: Ghosts are still at $99.99, but that should change shortly.
With the Xbox One console itself priced at $499.99, it makes sense to guess that we’ll be hearing about the PS4 console release date and price later tonight, with the $59.99 price for games hopefully announced as well, which would echo a statement made by Jack Tretton back in February that PS4 games would be no higher than $60.
Are you happy to see next-gen games at $59.99? Do you think we’ll see some at $59.99 and others at $69.99? Let us know in the comments below.
