Ask PSLS: Which PS4 Game Do You Most Hope is Announced During E3 2013?

As we did previously, we’ll be giving you a double dose of Ask PSLSes this week, with each focused on two of Sony’s systems – the PS4 and the PS Vita. To kick things off, the PSLS staff was asked: Which PS4 Game Do You Most Hope is Announced During E3 2013?

Anthony Severino – Naughty Dawg (@Sev_Anthony)

Is it terrible that I already want to see a sequel to The Last of Us announced? I know it’s not going to happen, because it’d hurt the sales of the first one, but damn… I just need more already. That, or I’d take another Uncharted. But again, more than anything, I want new, exciting IP.

Cameron Teague – Ghiblets (@Cameron_PSLS)

As a guy who plays a whole lot of RPGs, I would of course like to see something of that nature, whether it is my long awaited but likely to never happen Suikoden VI, or a more likely game from the Tales of series. What would be even more awesome would be an announcement of a PS4 collaboration between Studio Ghibli and Level 5 again, because I need another Ni no Kuni experience.

Chandler Wood – Final Wood (@FinchStrife)

In spirit of this week’s Morning Wood, I want to see Insomniac return to some of their great franchises (Ratchet & Clank, Resistance) on the PS4. Either that, or I would love to see an awesome new IP from them that retains their creative spirit of old. I also really want to see Final Fantasy Versus XIII or whatever incarnation it’s in now (Final Fantasy XV?) be announced as a PS4 title, perhaps for launch? Oh, and Kingdom Hearts III. I need my Kingdom Hearts fix.

Dan Oravasaari – Bad Luck (@FoolsJoker)

This is simple for me, I am hoping for Mirror’s Edge 2 for the PS4 to be announced at E3. I have been waiting for a sequel since the first one released in 2008.

Heath Hindman – Third Time’s the Charm (@RPGLand)

I wanna see Sega show up and reveal Valkyria Chronicles 4. The original turned tactical RPGs upside-down, and remains one of my favorite games of all time. The PSP games were good, especially the third one, but I want the huge battlefields and big-screen experience that only a console release can provide.

Jason Dunning – God of Sequels (@Jasonad21)

Other people here might want to see a new IP, but I just want some new entries into already established franchises, with a new God of War chief among them. No, I don’t want another prequel, but rather something that advances the story and takes place following the events of God of War 3, or pits Kratos against a new set of gods.

Louis Edwards – Dunkin’ (@ftwrthtx)

I’m really hoping the next chapter in the Uncharted series gets announced. Nathan has had more than enough time off and Sully will probably have to be dragged out of some bar in Thailand or the Philippines. Get these guys back to work before they both blow up like Doughnut Drake (if they haven’t already).

Sebastian Moss – Intense Platypus (@SebMoss)

I can’t wait to see Sony Santa Monica’s new IP. They’re fantastic developers, but the God of War series has gotten a little stale – let’s see what they can do new. But if we’re talking unrealistic, gimme The Getaway, that game should never have been cancelled for EyePet
