In what seems to be our first official E3 leak ahead of the show, a banner ad for Dark Souls II appeared over the weekend by the LA Convention Center, showing off a release date of March 2014 (click on the image for a larger view):
Quick to address this, Namco Bandai confirmed that, yes, Dark Souls II will release on Xbox 360, PC, and PS3 this March, meaning that you now know when more of your controllers will be broken due to your walls getting in the way. Of course, with this showing up following the launch of the PS4 and Xbox One, the talk of a next-gen version is going to appear, but if Yui Tanimura’s, Director on Dark Souls II, April comments are to be believed, “there’s no intent to have Dark Souls on next-gen.”
