Update 3: The PlayStation Store update has gone live, check out all the new additions here.
Update 2: Lots of content has begun to appear on the PlayStation Store, including Dragon Fantasy: Book I, Injustice: Gods Among Us, Sacred Citadel, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2, the Soul Sacrifice demo, and a pre-order for Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen.
Update 1: @PlayStation just tweeted the following:
The PSN team is working hard on the PS Store publish, happening later today. We’ll update here when live. Thanks for your patience.
We were hoping that this would have been resolved in a timely manner, but clearly it hasn’t, so we’re here to tell you that the PlayStation Store update originally planned for Tuesday, April 16th has been delayed.
The last word given out by PlayStation was through a tweet last night at 8:39PM PST and read as follows:
Today’s PS Store publish will be delayed due to ongoing PSN maintenance. We apologize for the inconvenience – stay tuned for updates
And here’s an explanation from Sony on the PlayStation forums:
We can confirm that today’s PS Store publish will be delayed due to ongoing scheduled PSN maintenance. The extended PSN maintenance duration is due to intermittent authentication errors experienced during the routine maintenance. We are working quickly to minimize the inconvenience to our customers and will continue to provide updates to the PlayStation community via @PlayStation. We’ll also post updates here as we get them.
We’re eagerly awaiting the PS Store to refresh (especially me, so I can start my Dragon Fantasy: Book I review!) and we’ll update this post if we hear any more information regarding a time frame for when all the April 16th releases are going to hit the PSN.
