Update: Simon from Climax Studios responded to us regarding these two games, and we’ve put his answer below:
The screenshots in question are from a prototype we decided to create last year during exploratory discussions we had with Ubisoft. This never went any further.
The other title is a Climax game in early development – more news soon.
Original Story: Spotted by users on NeoGaf, Climax Studios (who have Smart As, Eyepet and Friends, Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, and more in their portfolio) are working on two different titles for release in 2013.
The first, titled “Character Action Platformer,” doesn’t have any information given for it, though they do have some screenshots of the game, which looks eerily like a Prince of Persia video game:
The second, simply called “Unannounced Title,” also has no information, with the following art accompanying the game on their website:
It is important to note that Climax Studios is one of the developers listed as working on the PlayStation 4, so one or both of these titles could be making their way to Sony’s new console.
We’ve reached out to Climax Studios for any information on their new games and we’ll let you know if we hear anything, but in the meantime, feel free to speculate on what these games might be in the comments below.
