Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Trailer Leaks, Shows Pirates, Blackbeard, New Protagonist ‘Kenway’

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag has begun leaking faster than a Galley caught broadside, with first a poster, then box art, then release date and now a trailer all coming out ahead of schedule. Is Ubisoft trying to be the new Sony?

The CGI vid introduces us to the new protagonist Captain Edward Kenway, with Blackbeard going on and on about how deadly Kenway is. There’s no word on who the person playing him through the Animus is, however. The official version of the video is set to come out on Monday, but will be exactly the same as the one you see here:

As you can see, the vid confirms the previously leaked release date of October 29th, although it’s unclear whether that will just be the PS3/360/PC/WiiU release date, with the PS4/720 versions out later, or whether this means that the next gen consoles will have come out by then.
