It’s been a bit of a bumpy road for the release date of Young Justice: Legacy, with the game originally scheduled for February 2013, then delayed for a few months earlier this year, and now, we can expect it on September 10th, 2013.
Young Justice: Legacy is currently in development for 5 systems (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, 3DS, and PC), with the PlayStation Vita version not announced at all for launch, so it looks like Killzone: Mercenary will be dominating your September.
This new release date was posted on the Young Justice: Legacy Facebook Page, along with a few details about how the delay isn’t because of the TV being cancelled and when we can expect some more info:
The change in the street date has nothing to do with the current status of the show, this decision was made by Little Orbit. We realize this sounds like a long way off, and we would like to apologize for the long wait. We take the game very seriously, and the decision to push the title back was difficult.
We didn’t know it when we named the title, but as the show airs its final episodes, “Young Justice: Legacy” has taken on an entirely new meaning for the fans.
In the next couple of weeks we’ll be opening up pre-orders across a number of online retailers, premiering the box art, and unveiling an all new full length trailer.
Stay tuned.
Keep the faith.
