It looks as if Dan’s review last week didn’t arrive in time as Aliens: Colonial Marines topped the UK sales charts last week, marking the biggest new release of 2013, ahead of titles like Dead Space 3 and Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. Colonial Marines doesn’t dethrone 2010’s Aliens vs. Predator as the best week 1 for a game in the Aliens series though, which went on to gross £14 million lifetime in the UK.
Elsewhere, Dead Space 3 dropped 57% to land in second place, Assassin’s Creed III is up 50% to #6 thanks to some sales, and Ni no Kuni drops 59% and finds itself all the way in 25th place.
