The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct Will Have no Nudity, “Moderate Impact” of Sex

With just two months to go before the release of The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct from Activision and Terminal Reality, we still haven’t seen any official gameplay videos. On top of that, the details of the game are somewhat low, with us mostly knowing that it features Daryl and Merle traveling through Georgia, showing us what happened with those characters before the beginning of the TV show, and that they’ll have to scrounge for supplies.

So, in our search to find any type of anything regarding Survival Instinct, we found a classification from the Australian Ratings Board, where they gave it an MA 15+, citing ‘strong horror violence, blood and gore’.

Check out the breakdown of each category below:

  • Themes – Strong Impact
  • Violence – Strong Impact
  • Language – Moderate Impact
  • Drug Use – Mild Impact
  • Nudity – None
  • Sex – Moderate Impact

Based off of the Australian classification, and the fact that it’s a zombie-killing game, expect The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct to get a mature rating from the ESRB. If they happen to offer an interesting/funny summary for the game when it is rated, we’ll be sure to let you know.

On a scale of 1-10, what is your hype meter at for Survival Instinct? Let us know in the comments below.
