Metacritic Believes 2012 Sucked, Black Ops Declassified is the Lowest Rated PS Vita Title

Metacritic has published their end of year report for 2012, showing us both the best and worst critically reviewed games from the past year.

Taking top honors as the highest rated game of 2012 is The Walking Dead: The Game (the retail version) on Xbox 360 at a score of 95. Though it only received 9 reviews, it still met all the criteria and it actually marks the lowest rated Metacritic GOTY since Grand Theft Auto: Vice City for PC in 2003.

Switching gears to the PS3, it managed to beat out the Xbox 360 and Wii/Wii U in terms of average metascore for their games with a 70.3. It managed to attain 6 games over 90, half the number we saw last year, and 6 exclusives reaching 75 or higher, 7 lower than the 13 in 2011.
