They’re cutting it pretty close, but that January 2013 release window for Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault on PlayStation Vita in North America has been narrowed down to January 29th. It won’t be available at retail, so you’ll only be able to download it from the PSN for $19.99.
If you’re interested in the Vita version at all, remember that it comes for free with any PS3 copy (either retail or PSN) so you may as well go out and buy the PS3 version while you wait for the end of January.
As for current owners of the game, a brand new patch will be out this week that addresses many issues, including balancing within both the online and campaign portions. Not only that, each weapon will be given two more upgrade levels, allowing for even more power.
The updates don’t stop there though, as Insomniac has also announced that a new patch will be available in early January that that adds the new multiplayer map, Metropolis.
While the European date for Ratchet & Clank: Q-Force hasn’t been announced, it should fall in the same week as North America, but we’ll let you know if that changes.
