Following the release of the Resident Evil 6 title update that is now available today (check out all the details here), Capcom has announced that the next update will arrive on January 22nd, 2013.
Perhaps most interesting thing to note in the patch next month will be the addition of QTE assist to all difficulty levels. As opposed to right now when you could only take advantage of it during the Amateur difficulty, you can activate it to automatically complete nearly all quick-time events in the campaign.
You’ll also be able to select Agent Hunt Mode from the very beginning of the game, instead of having to complete a campaign first. Furthermore, the criteria for joining a session has expanded to stage selection, region selection, and other factors such as infinite ammo or friendly fire.
Rounding out the update will be general difficulty adjustments to certain areas of the game, as well as the ability to select individual stages within chapters once you complete them.
