Welcome to the latest PS All-Stars Battle Royale character bio, presented by the Daily Reaction team of Seb and Dan. This time we go slightly Oedipal and discuss the head of PlayStation’s most dysfunctional family, Heihachi Mishima. Read on to learn his life story, game history, and move list.
Name: Heihachi Mishima
Origin: Born into a rich and powerful family, Heihachi usurped his family’s control over the Mishama Zaibatsu corporation and imprisoned his father Jinpachi. Eventually he married a woman named Kazume, who died in child birth giving birth to their son Kazuya. After raising Kazuya with a firm fist, he becomes tired of his son’s weakness, and tries to kill him by dropping him in a ravine. Kazuya lives due to a supernatural gene called “the Devil Gene”, a trait found in the Mishima blood line and seeks revenge on his father. This feud results in Heihachi adopting a Chinese orphan (Lee Chaolan) to fuel the flames, and eventually leads to Kazuya dropping Heihachi off of a cliff. Like father like son, Heihachi lives and returns to take down Kazuya and ultimately throws him in a volcano.
