THQ had teased the above image last week in a tweet, with the words ‘A new adventure awaits Death!’ accompanying it. Today, they have pulled back the curtain on that new adventure, a piece of DLC titled Abyssal Forge.
As described by THQ, The Abyssal Forge is a living machine designed to harness the unfocussed dark power of the Abyss and create the most powerful legendary weapons. The Maker who built this abomination, known only as the Mad Smith, was shunned by his own people and sealed away in the Shadow Lands with his creation. However, the forge hasn’t remained dormant all those years of captivity; it has constructed a vast army and now threatens all creation.
The new environment within the DLC, The Shadow Lands, is a swamp-like area with a brand new visual look and also includes two new dungeons, new enemies, new secrets, and unique legendary loot to collect
Darksiders 2: Abyssal Forge will be available on Tuesday, October 30th in North America and Wednesday, October 31st in Europe for $9.99.
