Since we last heard from Sony (in June!) about the PlayStation Move Racing Wheel, it was given the extremely vague ‘fall’ release date. All’s been quite on the plastic wheel front since then, but GameStop has updated their listing for the $39.99 Move accessory and they have put an October 23rd release date on it. Though this isn’t clear confirmation, retailers list items and dates before official announcement all the time.
An October 23rd date does make sense though, with Need For Speed: Most Wanted launching a week later on October 30th, which requires the wheel for move functionality (hear our thoughts about this on Bad Gamers), and LittleBigPlanet Karting the week after on November 6th. If neither of those games interest you, other racers like Gran Turismo 5, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, Burnout Paradise, Motorstorm Apocalypse, and more will support the wheel.
