Dishonored takes place in an unsettling, unique world ravaged by disease, and rats, yet enhanced by incredible technology, and wondrous supernatural abilities, but how does all of this fit together? That’s what the chillingly narrated, beautifully animated ‘Tales From Dunwall’ series is set to explain, and Bethesda’s got the low-down on just why this series looks so beautiful, albeit bemoaning:
Created by Psyop, each episode was predominantly produced by hand. Each frame was a fully rendered style frame, which was then enhanced with 3D elements to add to the painterly atmosphere, dimension and depth of each shot. Rokkan, Bethesda’s marketing agency, was responsible for the webisode’s concept and script.
