Yesterday, Team Ninja was teasing a big game announcement for the Tokyo Game Show, and just last week, Keiji Inafune revealed his new ninja zombie game, YAIBA. It looks like both projects are actually the same game.
In a three-way collaboration between the aforementioned developers and Spark Unlimited, a cel-shaded Ninja Gaiden title is in the works. The game is called Ninja Gaiden Z and is clearly a major departure from typical Ryu Hayabusa fare.
If you were burned by Ninja Gaiden 3 and have lost faith in Team Ninja, there’s reason to have hope that this new entry in the series will deliver. Keiji Inafune is a master at his craft and knows how to make a quality game experience.
