Armored Core V Brings Mech Combat In March

Namco Bandai announced today that the latest iteration of Armored Core franchise, Armored Core V, will mobilize on March 20, 2012 in North America and March 23 in Europe. The franchise is of course developed by From Software, the studio behind Demon’s Souls and Dark Souls.

Armored Core V will continue the long tradition of the series in offering the best in over-the-top mech-on-mech violence and comprehensive customization options. The focus for Armored Core V is a little bit different from previous games. The offline section of the game will focus more on the smaller scale of mechs while the online part will still have the large scale team-based combat.

Namco Bandai also announced that those who pre-order the game through GameStop will receive an exclusive Heavy Assault Pack add-on that will grant players some mech parts that will give them competitive advantage over others in the game’s multiplayer on day one.

Are you ready for the latest and greatest offering by From Software in mech-on-mech violence?
