Makai Senki Disgaea, simply known as Disgaea in the West, is inching closer towards its PSVita debut, as Disgaea 3: Return is set to launch in Japan alongside the system this December. Today, we have a truckload of new screenshots, dood.
Originally for the PlayStation 3, this enhanced port is being brought stateside by NIS America, under the title of Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention. While the game looks somewhat visually improved, it’s mostly thanks to the Vita screen being smaller than your television, as the game does not include the higher-resolution sprites that made Disgaea 4 so much nicer to look at than any previous Disgaea title.
To play straight through the game is said to deliver the exact same experience as playing through it on the PS3, though like the first Disgaea‘s PSP version, there will be a new, optional mode that unlocks two fresh faces. More details on that are expected to be revealed as the game gets closer to release.
