With more and more developers turning to the PSN as their favorite development platform, the PlayStation Store is becoming the go-to place for indie hits and cult classics. As part of a new monthly feature, Sony has detailed the top 20 sales of the month on the network, and Mortal Kombat is leading the pack.
As revealed on the PS Blog, the list shows a lot of variety, and several game types, but it is clear that classic franchises have the edge. Of course, free PS+ games are not included in the list of US sales, as they would have a huge advantage:
