Easily one of highlights of Sony’s gamescom 2011 press conference, Naughty Dog demonstrated an incredible sequence of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. The new footage offers a glimpse as to how Nathan Drake ends up trapped in the desert, which is a major element to the new story mode, amongst the fiery wreckage of a downed plane. Drake finds himself locked in hand-to-hand combat with henchmen while trying to board a plane, which he finally manages to do just in the nick of time. Sony seems to be headed in a very good direction as they ready their big guns for the holiday season. They just slashed the PS3’s price, Uncharted 3 is on the horizon and Resistance 3 is preparing its guns to attack next month. Hopefully they will announce some great Uncharted 3 bundles to put this game into as many homes as possible when it launches on November 1st.
