We may not know exactly when the PlayStation Vita will launch, but what we do know is that when it does, it will have plenty of content day one. Along with Sony’s own line-up of games, Sega will have at least two games coming out on launch day, with the publisher joining the growing list of publishers planning to release their games alongside the Vita.
Speaking to VG247, Sega West CEO Mike Hayes had the following to say:
On Vita, we can came out pretty early on and said we were going to give support to the hardware.
And we will have at least two titles at the launch of Vita. When exactly that’s going to be of course, we don’t know, but we’re assuming it’s going to be by the end of the Sony financial year, we guess, so we’ve got that.
One of these titles, Virtua Tennis 4, has already been confirmed, leaving the other title as a complete mystery. Beyond the launch of the PS Vita, Hayes also stated that Sega has three more titles in development for Sony’s handheld.
