Dark Souls Loses Its Body In Japan

Dark Souls is the highly anticipated spiritual successor to Demon’s Souls. Demon’s Souls was known for its difficulty, atmosphere, and deep combat system. Dark Souls is going to ramp up the difficulty, the size of the enemies, and even the amount of spells players can cast. Gamers in Japan will have to wait a little longer to set up their campfires.

Don’t worry, the game is only being delayed a week. The game was originally scheduled to release on September 15th in Japan, but will now release on September 22nd. From Software’s only comment on the delay was that it was due to “various circumstances.” Namco Bandai hasn’t commented on if this delay will affect the North American or European release dates. Dark Souls is still planned on releasing on October 4th in North America and October 7th in Europe.
