If you’ve ever stepped foot into the Saints Row world, then you know the over-the-top moments that set it apart from other open world games. Never one to take itself too seriously, the series has been know for its outrageous moments and characters- something that’s certainly not being left out of the mix in the upcoming sequel. Bound together probably for the first and last time, three well known talents from broadly different lines of work will be involved in Saints Row: The Third.
What do thongs, Wrestlemania and LOST have in common? They’ve all contained, to some degree, a well known figure in the pop-media world that will be lending their voice to characters in Saints Row: The Third. THQ and game developer Volition announced a few voice actors, including adult film star Sasha Grey, wrestling icon Hulk Hogan, and Daniel Dae Kim from TV’s LOST.
Kim has long been expected to reprise his role from previous games as Johnny Gat, but Grey will join the cast as Viola DeWynter, a financial enterprises’ second-in-command. Hulk, on the other hand, is stepping outside of his reality show comfort zone to tackle a new role: fake wrestler.
Sasha Grey and Hulk Hogan are also said to be making an appearance in San Diego tomorrow during Comic-Con. Those fortunate enough to be attending the shindig can head to the Saints Row booth to stand in line for an hour until your turn comes to approach the duo cautiously, fumble for something cool to say, fail, and then walk away meekly with a signed poster.
