Irrational Games has been hard at work on the next installment of the Bioshock series. Bioshock Infinite takes place in the floating city of Columbia in the year 1912. Instead of fighting Big Daddy’s, the main player will be cast into the middle of a a civil war between two rival factions.
The trailer opens up with the main player, Booker DeWitt, talking to Elizabeth. Booker DeWitt is a former Pinkerton who was sent to Columbia to rescue Elizabeth. DeWitt soon finds out that Elizabeth has special powers, and both factions of the civil war are trying to use Elizabeth to their advantage. Elizabeth is also being chased by a giant mechanical bird called “songbird.” This is the “him” referred to in the very beginning of the trailer.
